Welcome to Hamari Jaan Pakistan, a dedicated non-registered NGO that has been making a significant impact in Karachi since its establishment in January 2019. Our organization is committed to uplifting the underprivileged communities through various programs. Here’s an overview of our ongoing projects and future goals:

Recognizing that food is a fundamental necessity of life, we have initiated the Apna Khana project. Inspired by the teachings of our religion, which emphasize feeding and aiding the less fortunate, we offer affordable meals to those in need. Originally started with meals priced at PKR 20 each, we now provide nourishing meals at PKR 60, thanks to the generous support of donors. By maintaining reasonable prices, we aim to foster a sense of dignity and discourage dependency. With your help, we aspire to expand this program to reach more areas in Karachi, ensuring that the hungry can meet their basic needs.

At Hamari Jaan Pakistan, we firmly believe that education is the key to transforming society. Our Apna School project, which began 18 months ago, focuses on providing quality education to children from impoverished backgrounds. Currently, we support the education of 25 children at Al Qalam Academy in Orangi Town, where families struggle to make ends meet. By subsidizing their monthly school fees with donations, we enable these children to receive an education that empowers them to become successful individuals. Our goal is to establish additional branches in other impoverished areas, serving as stepping stones toward a brighter future for more children. We prioritize teaching English, Urdu, and essential numeracy skills in primary education, while secondary education emphasizes computing skills and mental development. Your contribution can play a vital role in helping us achieve this vision.

Recognizing the dire circumstances faced by families below the poverty line, our organization conducts ration distribution campaigns. These initiatives aim to provide basic grocery items to those unable to afford them. Through careful selection, we identify deserving families in disadvantaged localities and deliver ration packages to their doorsteps. The frequency and scale of these distributions depend on the donations we receive. With your support, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of those affected by food insecurity.
